    While I'm skeptical of the idea that LLMs per se can create new knowledge (the "automated scientist"), I'll say-per one of the more energizing client engagements I've had over the past three years-that in the hands of legitimate experts, the best models, when combined with fresh/high-dimensional new data absolutely increase the rate "aha moments per hour," which is, I think the best leading indicator of scientific progress.
